Indonesian Import Technical Verification (VPTI)

A series of physical verification activities to assure quantity and administration validity, including identification of the goods, description and/or specifications, quantity verification and assessment with regards to regulations or requirements stipulated by Ministry of Trade. This results in a Surveyor Report to assist import requirements, documents and/or accompanying customs documents.

Importer can access VPTI webs-ite using username and password which has been sent via e-mail
Filling Out Verification Request (VR) Form

Importer fills in detailed description of goods to be verified

Submission of Verification Order (VO)

KSO SCISI submits notification of VO issuance to importer via e-mail
Physical Verification Scheduling

KSO SCISI overseas branch offices contact the exporter to set up physical verification schedule

Physical Verification

Physical Inspection Report (PIR) status can be satisfactory, discrepancy or aborted
Upload Final Documents (FD)

KSO SCISI notifies importer via e-mail to upload FD (ex: packing list, invoice, etc)

Final Verification

KSO SCISI performs data verification between PIR and FD
Surveyor Report (LS) Issuance

Importer will receive e-mail notification when LS has been issued. KSO SCISI will send Electronic LS or e-LS to Indonesian Ministry of Trade via INATRADE.
